Ryan Faulkner

Educational Programmer

Ryan is our Educational Programmer Intern and is from Truro, Nova Scotia.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St.  Mary’s University, Halifax and a Master’s Degree in Modern and Postmodern English Literature from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

While in Scotland, Ryan worked as a writer for a community magazine where he wrote articles on topics such as environmental issues and education, health and fitness and automotive reviews.  It was at this time that Ryan developed his passion for environmental awareness and education and he is happy to be back in Nova Scotia and pursuing a career as an Environmental Education Programmer for the Joggins Fossil Institute.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys camping, travelling, snowboarding, adventure sports, art, music and cars. He also enjoys reading and writing on a variety of topics ranging from adventure tourism to environmental issues. Currently, Ryan also writes blogs for NovaScotia.com.
